It's kinda why I fell off Melty quite early as the characters just kinda look drab. I think a big part of this is having a well balanced variety of characters. Fighting games used to kinda push the bar in visuals and I think they've kinda let this slide in recent memory. Aesthetics do matter a lot to me for fighting games.Įven if the gameplay is tight if the game looks like ass I will get bored of it.
